Project IINDRA set out to find a solution for a common grave issue faced by farmers in the plains in northern parts of India. During northern winters the phenomenon of ‘pala’ has been known to be a major threat to the cultivation of crops. The project proposed to find a solution to this problem with the help of the use of AI and a network of on-site devices like a network of sensors and a centralised data collection system about the weather.
Successfully secured funding for the second phase of the IINDRA Project in collaboration with IIT Roorkee, focused on disaster management research.
Building on the success of the first phase, this project aims to create innovative solutions for disaster preparedness and response in collaboration with IIT Roorkee.
